Due to the nature of our consulting, a formal scope is always prepared and submitted before any project work is performed.  Work starts upon receipt of a purchase order authorizing TTI to proceed.

A scope submitted to clients details the technical objectives, cost and estimated schedule of completion. It is based on discussions with the interested party as to their stated goals for the project and to determine what engineering disciplines may be involved.

As a rule any discussions with our consultants are held in strict confidence.  We routinely sign confidentiality agreements when sensitive information may be exchanged as part of the initial discussions used to assist us in forming a suitable response for further consideration.

Often, projects are quoted on a fixed price basis, with payment invoiced upon submission and review of the final report with the client. Progress reporting is performed in situations where results can play a role in critical path schedules.

We recognize the specialized nature of our engineering. We therefore expect a process of Q and A is necessary in order for our clients to understand what we expect to provide, how it addresses their goal, how long will it take and how much it will cost.
